Through 26 locations, the DC Public Library serves as a community focal point, offering books, services and programs, technology and community gathering spaces that promote the joy of reading, discovery and community pride. Our programs are intentionally diverse and designed to support public education. Our libraries conduct educational, recreational and cultural programming with an emphasis on “birth to 24 years.”
