Thanksgiving TreatThanksgiving Treat is an excellent story for young children.  It is about a young boy who is pleading for help with Thanksgiving dinner. No one wants to give him a chance, because they think he is too little.  Everyone he goes to sends him to someone else for help. The little boy is uplifted when his uncle invites him to go for a walk. This is where the treat comes in.  A hint: it is not the turkey.

Check this book out to find out what the Thanksgiving treat is; you will be surprised to see what it is.

PuebloThe Pueblo is one of the True Book series. It is a very fine book to use for a book report during Hispanic Heritage Month.  It has 46 pages and is an excellent read for 4th and 5th graders.   The book contains true and false questions, suggests a museum to visit and gives the meanings of important words in the book.
