LGBTQ Pride Buttons

For the first two weeks of June, drop by Northwest One Neighborhood Library and tell us what makes you proud to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer, or an ally and get a button to show off your Pride. Get one early enough and you can wear it during Capital Pride week!

In this course, students learn the parts of the computer, mouse basics, typing, Internet search and electronic mail. This two-hour class meets twice per week for five weeks. Prerequisite: none. Math Quilts with Artist Karen Brown

Lamond-Riggs Library

Using brightly colored card-stock paper, children will produce exquisite creations that reinforce math curriculum ideas from simple patterns, symmetry, and shapes all the way up to fractions and geometry.  The individual squares created will be put together to form a public art “quilt” that will display in the library. Space is limited, please call ahead to reserve space. Ages 6-13
