Soothing Sunday Yoga

Every Sunday this summer, join us for Pop-Up Yoga at the library taught by instructors from WithLoveDC. WithLoveDC is a movement to spread love, joy, and acceptance throughout the District. The Practice With Love classes aim to create an accessible space for all people to tune into their breath while enjoying the amazing spaces around our beautiful city. WithLoveDC is thrilled to bring their free yoga gatherings to the Southeast Library; come flow with us!

Hatha Yoga

Make time for peace and mindfulness on Mondays this summer with free hatha yoga classes.Yoga Activist, a D.C.-based nonprofit, is dedicated to personal empowerment and community awareness through yoga practice. A volunteer from Yoga Activist will teach the classes. Hatha yoga is a gentle and slower-paced form of yoga. The classes are one hour in length. Please note that due to space limitations we will limit the class to 25 participants.

Join us at Northwest One for free yoga classes every Tuesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The classes are geared towards beginners and all are welcome regardless of experience.  Classes are lead by qualified instructors and are provided courtesy of Yoga Activist.
