Free yoga continues at Southwest Library, but on a new day, new time, and with new Yoga Activist instructor Sandra Flores. As always, all fitness levels are welcome, and mats are provided. For ages 13 and older.

Saturday, October 4, 2014

10:00 a.m.

YogaJoin us every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00am for Adult Yoga Class.

Wear some comfortable clothing and bring a mat, but if you don’t have one, yoga mats are available for use during the class.

The classes are taught by Yoga Activist and are held on the lower level of the library in the Larger Meeting Room.
This class is free and open to the public.

10:00 a.m.

Yoga image incorporating words associated with the practice of yoga. Start your Saturdays with Carol, Marjorie and some relaxing, stress-free yoga!

Everyone is welcome, beginners especially! Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Bring your own yoga mat or use one of ours (limited availability).

11:00 a.m.

Yoga at Your Library is a beginner level yoga class for adults and teens brought to you courtesy of Yoga Activist.

No experience is required. The class is free.

You can bring your own mat, but if you don’t have one, yoga mats are available for use during the class.

Senior doing yogaTake an Om Break at the library! Join the Georgetown Neighborhood Library for a variety of yoga classes taught by teachers from Yoga Activist.

The Georgetown Neighborhood Library is registering RSVPs for all October classes. This class will be specifically for seniors ages 55 and older. 

To RSVP for any or all classes, send Erika Rydberg an email with the class(es) you're interested in registering for. The first 30 RSVPs will be registered and the remaining RSVPs will be placed on a waiting list.

Lotus
Bring a mat and join Heather Ferris, yoga teacher/therapist & Shaw resident, for traditional yoga classes. Many aspects will be covered:

• Asana
• Meditation
• Breathing
• Omkar chanting and much more
