YogaJoin us every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00am for Adult Yoga Class.

Wear some comfortable clothing and bring a mat, but if you don’t have one, yoga mats are available for use during the class.

The classes are taught by Yoga Activist and are held on the lower level of the library in the Larger Meeting Room.
This class is free and open to the public.

DC OM Feed Yourself something different on Tuesdays. Join us for ongoing lunch hour yoga at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library.

Lunch Hour Yoga will take place on Tuesdays beginning April 8. Our wonderful teachers come from different disciplines but are hoping to bring some health to your mind and body during a busy work week.

Please bring your own mat.

This program is especially tailored to adults aged 50+ and persons with limited mobility who have doctor consent. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver on their first day of attendance.

Yoga ActivistJoin us on Mondays for a free yoga class for adults, ages 18 and up, provided by Yoga Activist.

Yoga Activist is an organization dedicated to providing free yoga instruction to communities by partnering instructors with social service organizations interested in promoting the benefits of yoga.

Mats will be provided. Registration is preferred, but not required.

Babar and friends doing yogaJoin us for a parent-child yoga class with instructor Sarah Alim for children ages 2-9 and their caregivers. Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat or towel.  

Due to space considerations, we will give out free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the class. Because this is an exercise class, a signed waiver is required for each participant, and parents should sign one for their child. Waiver forms can be picked up from the children's desk and must be turned in before you receive a ticket.
