Adults and teens are welcome to join our new yoga program on Tuesday evenings! The 60-minute class is geared toward beginners, but all are welcome to attend.

Join us every Wednesday for a themed story time and a related make-and-take craft project after story time is over.

Designed for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers, the story time will include books, songs, rhymes and finger plays as we continue to strengthen early literacy skills.

Join us for hands-on activities in our outdoor garden!  This program is designed for ages 5-12; children younger than 9 must be accompanied by an adult.

You are cordially invited to attend the Tuesday morning computer classes at the Southwest Library.  These two hour sessions begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 12 noon.  August sessions include Introduction to Microsoft Powerpoint  (Aug. 5), Introduction to PCs (Aug. 12), Internet Basics (Aug. 19) and DC Public Library website (Aug. 26).PCs for Dummies by Dan Gookin

Library staff will lead a demonstration on navigating the Freegal music and Zinio magazine resources: come learn how to download and stream millions of songs and over 100 magazines for FREE! Adults and teens can also use the training to help them fill a block or earn a badge toward their summer reading goals.
