image of a computerThese are workshops designed to teach the basic skills of computer use. Classes are designed for people who have limited or no computer skills.  Over the course of the sessions, participants will gain comfort with computers, gain experience using the keyboard and mouse, and develop the ability to easily find, store, and produce documents such as Word documents.  Participants will develop the skills needed to accomplish tasks such as filling out online job applications and other online forms, sending emails, and finding information online.  

Sessions will cover:  August 24 - Typing Basics; September 7 - Using the Internet; September 21 - Setting up Email.  For more information, call (202) 541-6100.
