A program for children two and three years old.

Mondays at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., we have free film showings! The same film is shown at both times.

Films are often of a mature and serious nature, and are intended for adults. After each film, you are invited to stay for an optional discussion of the film.

All films are shown with subtitles or captions.

Babies enjoy books, rhymes, songs and other activities on the laps of their caregivers. For pre-walkers.

Registration required. Sign up at the children's desk or by phone, 202-282-0021.

The August selection of the Chevy Chase Library's Book Club is The Disaster Artist : My Life Inside 'The Room', the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made  by Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell.

The hilarious and inspiring true story of how a mysterious misfit got past every roadblock in the Hollywood system to achieve success on his own terms: a $6 million cinematic catastrophe called The Room.

The book club will meet on Tuesday, August 5 at 7 p.m. Copies of the book are available on a display near the information desk at the branch.
