The CircleJoin us for a brand new book club for and by the book lovers of Capitol Hill. Every month, we will read a different book, in a different location on the Hill.

Discussion will be led by staff from a variety of our neighborhood's most bookish, including staff from the Southeast Neighborhood Library, Northeast Neighborhood LibraryRiverby Books, and others. 

Our next title will be The Circle by Dave Eggers, the story of a young woman's journey at a cutting-edge internet company.

Please join local author Garrett Phelan and the Southeast community for a poetry reading and discussion to celebrate National Poetry Month!

Phelan will read a few of his own poems as well as a few favorites by other poets. The floor will then be open to the community to read their favorite poems. Readers are also welcome to share a few words about why a poem is a particular favorite.

, last year's DC State Fair Knitting winner, will be on hand to share tips about how she included the design in the gloves.
