City of DeviJoin us for a new book club for and by the book lovers of Capitol Hill. Every month, we will read a different book, in a different location on the Hill.

Discussion will be led by staff from a variety of our neighborhood's most bookish, including staff from the Southeast Neighborhood Library, Northeast Neighborhood LibraryRiverby Books, and others. 

Our July title is The City of Devi by Manil Suri. Set in Mumbai, India, the book tells the story of a pregnant woman's courtship with her husband and her subsequent struggle for survival in a conflict-torn city.

In July, we will meet at Riverby Books at 417 East Capitol St SE. You can pre-register at Meetup.com.
