This class is for beginning braille users (All ages).

Prepare to exhibit your trading card prowess at this day-long event in the Great Hall. Enjoy swapability at the expense of your opponents and win weekly bragging rights. 

Players will meet until 5 p.m. in the lounge area in front of the Digital Commons. Games are open to adults and teens and tournaments will be held twice a year.

So, come one, come all; just come ready.

LOL Movie at MLK Teen SpaceJoin us at the MLK Teen Space for a great movie in our Teen Lounge on the first and third Thursday of every month. 

We show many popular movies as soon as they are released on DVD and are in the library collection. We also show an occasional anime show or movie to tie into the Manga Club program at Teen Space.

Join our Braille Book Club for Kids which is for children in grades 1-6 (and their parents) who are Braille readers. This program is sponsored in partnership with Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind.

The Braille Book Club for Kids meets the first Saturday of every month, at 11 a.m. (except holidays or as advertised) in the Adaptive Services Division, Room 215.

Come to Art Attack in Teen Space! 
Stop by and make cool crafts while hanging out with friends. We provide the materials, YOU provide the creativity!

Ages 13-19.

Join us for the following special Art Attack programs during the summer months and earn badges as part of the Teen Summer Reading Program: 

June 30: E-textiles: Teens will create LED cuff bracelets using LEDs, batteries, and conductive thread. Earn the STEM and Get Crafty Badges at this event.

July 7: 
Street Art & Fashion: Teens will have an opportunity to make freezer stenciled tees, chalk spray paint art, or graffiti lettering. Earn the Get Crafty Badge at this event.

August 4: 
Engineering-Paper Roller Coasters: Teens will create paper roller coasters using paper, tape, and marbles. Earn the STEM Badge at this event.

August 11: 
Stop Motion Videos: Teens will create Vine or Instagram videos using weird props & DIY backdrops on their own mobile devices or a DCPL iPad. Earn the STEM and Get Crafty Badges at this event.
