poem in your pocket logoPick a poem that moves you. Pick a poem that amuses you. Pick a poem that confuses you. Put it in your pocket and see how it changes your day.

From the Academy of American Poets:

"On Poem in Your Pocket Day, people throughout the United States select a poem, carry it with them, and share it with others throughout the day. You can also share your poem selection on Twitter by using the hashtag #pocketpoem. Poems from pockets are unfolded throughout the day with events in parks, libraries, schools, workplaces, and bookstores."

So come to any floor of the library to get a poem, or bring your poem of choice to share with us and each other.
