Truck Farm photoPresented by DC Central Kitchen and The People's Garden, the Truck Farm is a traveling, edible exhibit that allows D.C.’s youth to really dig in to the source of the food that fuels their growing bodies and minds.

Join us to learn about yummy plants and see how they can be used.  Each session will include a tasting!

Open to children ages 5-12.  Limited to 25 participants; registration is encouraged.

If reading and talking about popular books sounds like fun, our Reading Diva's Book Club is for you! The club meets twice a month on Sunday here at Capitol View Library. Our group is lead by Mrs. Wendy, and she loves to see new faces. The girls are working on contacting their favorite authors and putting on a play about the books they have read. Join us for some exciting reading fun in September. Girls ages 10-13 are invited to attend.
