Please join the Southeast Book Club on the last Tuesday of each month -- except April when we will meet on April 22nd - for a fun and interesting discussion of the monthly book.

Please join local author Garrett Phelan and the Southeast community for a poetry reading and discussion to celebrate National Poetry Month!

Phelan will read a few of his own poems as well as a few favorites by other poets. The floor will then be open to the community to read their favorite poems. Readers are also welcome to share a few words about why a poem is a particular favorite.

Come learn to knit these bike helmet earmuffs AND learn how to read a chart to add a Washington, D.C. flag to this or any project.

Whitney Meagher
, last year's DC State Fair Knitting winner, will be on hand to share tips about how she included the design in the gloves.
