Breaking Barriers to Employment: Pregnancy and Family Responsibilities

Are you a jobseeker with questions about pregnancy and family responsibilities?  Do you believe that your pregnancy or family responsibilities are preventing you from getting or keeping a job?  As part of the DC Public Library and Neighborhood Legal Services Program’s (NLSP’s) Breaking Barriers to Employment series, special guests from First Shift Justice Project will give a one-hour-and-15-minute (2-3:15 p.m.) presentation on how pregnancy and child care duties may affect your employment prospects.

Are you a job seeker in need of assistance with your job search process?  Are you a job seeker or a recently hired employee?  Are you having difficulties getting or keeping a job?  Then please attend the Job Seekers Drop-In and Legal Clinic, sponsored by the DC Public Library and the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, where you will be able to accomplish job search tasks and address any job seeking issues that can be legally resolved. Both Drop-In and Legal Clinic services are conducted in the Computer Lab, Room 311, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
