For Teen Tech Week, our weekly Art Attack is going hi-tech, featuring computer-based creations.
Stop by Teen Space to make cool projects and hang out with friends. We provide the materials, YOU provide the creativity!
Come to Teen Space and learn how to create and edit your videos and movies using the iMovie software on our Macs.

What can you build with paper? Anything you want! Build a cube character, design a flip book or make an awesome 8-bit space-invader card! The only limit is your imagination!
Not sure what you want to build? You can watch our tutorials and use our templates to create cool paper projects. Need a notebook? Build one with old floppy disk or cassette player.
We will provide the supplies, some awesome examples and all the colored paper you could want!

Join the DIY revolution for Teen Tech Week and bring in your phone cases (or other electronics cases) to decorate. We'll provide plenty of supplies for you to make your phone case the brightest, the glitteriest, or however you want to express yourself.
We will meet in the second-floor conference room.
This event is for teens 13-19.
Please note we are unable to supply phone cases, so don't forget to bring your own!
Chevy Chase is celebrating Teen Tech Week with a tech-filled movie night!
Come by until 6:30 p.m. for themed treats and a special movie screening starring a lonely trash-collecting robot on Earth and his new friend who is on a mission to find green plants.
Join the Woodridge Library as we showcase several websites that are sure to spark the interest of teenagers alike. Website material ranges from the following content.
- Social Media & Networking
- Health & Fitness
- Do It Yourself Activities
Ever wonder how computers work or wanted to create your own website? As part of Teen Tech Week, we will be learning about and discussing the foundations of these questions using amazing free tools like Codecademy, Crunchzilla, and Khan Academy. Computers will be reserved in the Teen Space until 6:30 p.m. for an hour of coding.
This is for ages 13-19.
During Teen Tech Week, have a great time singing the lyrics from your favorite tunes.
Choose any song you want and do your best.
Remember, with Karaoke Fun, it's not about getting all the notes right, it's about having the courage to try.

For Teen Tech Week, Chess Club is going high-tech, featuring online play.
Come to the Teen Space to learn how to play chess and master unique chess strategies from our instructor.
This year, celebrate Teen Tech Week, March 9-15, 2014, at your neighborhood library.
Teens are invited to come and see how learning extends beyond the classroom while still having fun.
Teens are invited to come out explore, create and share with others the knowledge they learn with several STEAM related crafts and activities.

At the Teen Tech Week Maker Party, visit a variety of maker stations, meet new friends, and have fun. By participating at the different maker stations, you will get an opportunity to win a pair of Beats by Dre Solo Headphones. Maker stations include:

Come to the large meeting room on the main floor and find out how these high-tech scavenger hunts are put together and how you can get involved!
Ready to become a cyberninja? Teen Tech Week’s almost here, and we’ll be learning coding from the pros!
Come to MLK’s Teen Space and practice your cyberjutsu. Cybersecurity experts from the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu will be in Teen Space to teach basic programming and coding language.
Learn Python and you’ll be able to build your own games, design websites, manipulate audio and video files… the possibilities are endless!
