Hatha Yoga with Alexis

Take a mid-week break and unwind with hatha yoga. Alexis Chen is certified as a RYS 200 Hatha Yoga instructor. Each class is 75 minutes long. Hatha yoga is a form of gentle yoga that is suitable for many levels of fitness and experience. All classes are free and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own yoga mat.

Zumba® Gold is a fun dance fitness program based on international rhythms targeted to the active senior population and non-seniors who are beginners, those who prefer a low-impact but effective cardio workout due to injury or other reasons, or those who might be intimidated by high-impact classes. Instructor Wilma B. Consul will make you dance, sweat and smile after moving to great music without realizing you've worked out. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes with good support and bring water and a small towel.

Petworth Pacers, Still On the Move!

Want to stay fit and fabulous at 50+? Show your body some love and join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings at 4 p.m. for "Petworth Pacers"! All fitness walkers should dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate, movement-oriented clothing and bring a water bottle (and an optional face towel for perspiration). Doctor's approval should be sought prior to participation for the first time. All walkers are required to sign liability waivers. Young children in strollers may also accompany walkers.
