Animation Unplugged: A MEDIA SAVVY Workshop

This course is an introduction to the basics of animation and is designed to stimulate recognition, discussion and comprehension of animated cinematic releases and video game technology. Each Thursday this month we will feature LEGOs for you to enjoy, but each week we will present a different program challenge. So prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!  For ages 6 and older.  But don't forget to look for other LEGO-related activites throughout April, including a special craft and a movie.

Are you up to the challenge? Use your creative engineering skills to make buildings out of newspaper, just like Rose from Brian Selznick's Wonderstruck.  The challenges will include building towers from limited materials with the goal of creating the tallest and strongest buildings.
