Every Tuesday after school, join the teens, tweens, and young children who test their visual, spatial, mathematical, and logical acumen, using mandalas; logical geometric and pictorial puzzles; LEGO; wooden blocks; and more.  I Spy Hours: 3:00-5:00 p.m.NOTE: Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied and actively supervised by a caregiver aged 13 years and older.

BARS is a creative workshop for youth who enjoy rapping and writing spoken word poems.  Join "Words, Beats and Life" in Teen Space every Tuesday from January until June to write new songs to original beats & poems and to record and perform. Spend your time making art that makes a difference in your community!  The BARS workshop will end in June with a culminating performance by workshop participants. This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The Parklands-Turner Neighborhood Library has a terrific collection of comic books and graphic novels.  Children and teens are encouraged  to come in and enjoy one of the comics on display, or select an item from the catalog from any library in the city and have it delivered to Parklands-Turner, especially for you!
