Help someone’s wish to go to prom come true!
Rosedale and Bellevue Neighborhood Library will be collecting gently-used prom dresses and prom accessories for financially challenged DC are teens until April 19. We aim to accumulate 100 donated items for our Prom Come True event to be held at the Rosedale Recreation Center on April 26. During this exciting event teens will come shop, win prizes and learn Do-It-Yourself grooming tips any prom queen or king can use!
With the stress of final grade point averages, acceptance letters and graduation fees, the pressures and costs of the prom could prove to be financially challenging for some families. DC Public Library is happy to announce that we are there for our youth community!
From now until Saturday, April 19, please donate:
- Gently-used prom/formal wear (all sizes are welcome)
- Prom shoes (for females and males)
- Other formal wear accessories (for females and males)
- In-kind prizes/certificates/services
For more information about contributing the above-listed goods/services, please contact:
