Visit the Parklands Turner Neighborhood Library every Tuesday morning for stories, finger plays, songs and rhymes, all led by the children's librarian. Story time helps children practice and learn early literacy skills in a fun playful setting, and this is a terrific time for parents, guardians and babysitters to select some outstanding materials to check-out and take home   For children ages of 0 to 5 years old and their adult companions.

Ever wondered what it would be like to create your own LEGO figure? If you have a love for LEGOs and want to try a fun craft, then stop on by! We will create a LEGO head for you to take home. Get your crafting skills on and don't forget to check us out throughout April as we celebrate LEGOs all month long.   Please note, however, that this program involves the use of some craft supplies that require safe handling, so it is recommended that parents or caregivers supervise children during this activity.

Building Wonder, Designing Dreams: The Bookmaking of Brian Selznick

This interactive, multi-media exhibit for all ages celebrates the bookmaking of children’s author and illustrator, Brian Selznick—his exquisite artistry, experimentation with form and narrative and spellbinding storytelling.
