Parklands-Turner Library

Time for Strategy, Good Sportsmanship, and Fun! Children and teens are invited to participate in chess lessons and and play chess, every Tuesday afternoon at the Parklands-Turner Neighborhood Library. Different chess related activities will take place depending on the skill levels of those in attendance, but all will be encouraged to participate at their highest level. Local chess enthusiast and volunteer, Mr. Hart will lead the Chess Club and encourage participants to learn and practice this ancient sport of tactics and planning.
