The Georgetown Library will be doing offsite story times between 9:30-11:30 a.m. for children 0-5 at the Glover Park-Burleith Farmers Market, located at 1819 35th St. NW Washington, DC, just two blocks from the library.

Come join us a for a bilingual story time in French and English!

Recommended for ages 2-5.

Join us for an all-ages story time. 

10:30 a.m.

Stories, music, folktales and fun for Preschoolers and Kindergartners. Recommended for ages 3-5.

Start your weekend off with a fun family story time filled with songs, rhymes, and good books. Book

11:00 a.m.

Come in for weekend story time as we read, sing and rhyme.

This program recommended for families with children ages 0-5.

Join us afterwards for our Imaginative Play program.

Baby/toddler lap times are story times geared for babies ages birth to 24 months and their caregivers.

Bring mom and dad and join us on Saturday mornings for a fun family story time.

Children ages birth to 7 years and their caregivers are welcome.

Boy and Robot reading togetherToday is the official last day of Summer Reading.  If you haven't turned in your reading log, please bring it in and get your prizes!  

We'll be drawing winners for our Children's Summer Reading raffles at the End of Summer Reading Party on September 3rd.

Stories, songs, dances and FUN, for ages birth to two and their caregivers every Tuesday.

10:00 a.m.

Stories, songs, and rhymes for ages 0-2, with their caregivers.

For safety's sake, there is a limit of 75 participants for each story time.

Remember -- there is a story time at 10 a.m. and another repeated at 11 a.m.

Free tickets are required for entry and can be obtained 10 minutes before the start of the program in the upstairs reading room.

Capitol View Library has Preschool Story Time every week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Our story time combines interactive stories, songs, movement activities, and arts and crafts for a full hour of reading fun. Children ages 3-6 are invited to attend.
