French Story Time

French Story Time is for children of all ages. This program includes songs, music and motion and is very interactive. Children have the opportunity to learn Fench songs, practice their French, and connect words with motion, as well as enjoy stories. Come and join us every Thursday at 4 p.m. (except on holidays!)

Pajama Story Time

Put on your pajamas, grab your teddy bear, and join us in the Children's Room for a family story time before heading to bed! We'll read stories, sing songs, and perform finger plays together. Library Lovers Like to Bike during National Bike Month!

Northeast Library

Find out just how many library lovers really like to bike as we celebrate National Bike Month in May 2015! A special bike-to-story time program is planned in Northeast DC and in Northwest DC, at the beginning and ending of the month. Join us on: Saturday, May 2, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.: Bicyclists of all ages will meet at Southeast Neighborhood Library by 10 a.m. for a ride to Northeast Neighborhood Library, where we will join other Ward 6 families and enjoy an outdoor celebration with stories, crafts and snacks!
