Put on your pajamas, grab your teddy bear, and join us in the Children's Room for a family story time before heading to bed! We'll read stories, sing songs, and perform finger plays together. For children of all ages and their families (children under 9 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver). Please call 202-724-4691 with questions.

Come read, sing and play with your baby at the library! This story time is held in the Children's Room on the second floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. For children ages birth to 1 and their caregivers. See you there!

Interactive story time with songs, rhymes, and books, for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Free tickets are required due to limited space. Tickets are distributed beginning 30 minutes before each story time on a first-come, first-served basis. Have a group? Please call ahead of time to make special arrangements.
Join us for a fun, interactive story time that encourages early language and literacy skills through stories, songs and rhymes. Wonderful Ones is a caregiver and child program for children that are walking up to and including age two. You must register each week for this program. Email email@example.com to register.
Bring the family and join us on Saturday mornings for a fun, interactive story time followed by open play time at 11:30 a.m. Children ages birth to 7 years and their caregivers are welcome. For questions, please contact the children's librarian at 202-541-6025.
Baby/toddler lap times are story times for babies ages birth through 24 months and their caregivers. Come enjoy books, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, bounces, and more! Saturday lap time is held upstairs in the children's area of the main reading room. Tickets are not required. Have a group? Please call ahead of time to make special arrangements.
