Long Island goes to the prom

High school senior proms took place throughout Long Island in the month of June. Some photos were taken with Instagram, an app that enhances the color and tone of photographs and also can allow for special effects, such as the appearance of a Polaroid photo or other vintage look. To submit your prom photos, Instagram them with the hashtag #LIProms, send a Twitpic with the hashtag #LIProms, or email them to litowns@newsday.com.
