The Wantagh-Seaford Homeowners’ Association is hosting a post-Sandy forum on Monday, April 15, to help residents and businesses still dealing with the aftermath of the storm who are trying to rebuild.

The forum, with the assistance of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce, will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Seaford Knights of Columbus, 2183 Jackson Ave.

Some federal and state agencies and organizations that will be at the event include FEMA, American Red Cross, the state Department of Financial Services, state Department of Motor Vehicles, Town of Hempstead Building Department, National Grid, Long Island Cares and Operation Photo Rescue, among others. There also will be information on landscape restoration and an interior decorator to help with questions about living under construction.

“‘What now? Where do we go from here? Why is it taking so long?’ These questions and others still plague those desperately trying to move on but cannot,” association president Ella Stevens said in a statement. “Residents and business owners deserve answers to these questions and the goal of this forum is to be able to provide them with the answers.”

For more on the forum, call 516-409-1645.
