Bill Bleyer
Along with colleague Emily Ngo, I cover Oyster Bay Town, its 16 incorporated villages and the City of Glen Cove. My connection to the town began when I was one year old and my mother bought a summer bungalow in Bayville. I have covered the town on and off for 38 years, first as a part-time reporter for an Oyster Bay weekly newspaper while in college, then as editor of the weekly and periodically in my 31 years at Newsday.
