Ex-pro wrestler New Jack’s appearance on “The Daily Show” last month proved to be more cameo than career-changing.

Adam Ohriner, a 2004 Mepham High School graduate, will make his in-ring national television debut tonight on Spike TV’s “Impact Wrestling,” starting at 9 p.m.
His appearance, which was taped last week in Peoria, Ill., is part of a “TNA Gut Check” search to find new talent for the company. The match was a tryout, and Ohriner will find out soon if he will be offered a TNA contract.
