The History of Smithtown
Founded by an Englishman named Richard Smith in 1655, who, according to legend, rode his pet bull to determine where the town's borders would be, Smithtown has grown into a modern suburb, primarily due to the convenience of the Long Island Rail Road. Videojournalist: Brittany Wait (March 22, 2013)
