Zimmerman's lawyers quit
Zimmerman’s attorneys withdraw as his counsel, saying they lost contact with him. Lawyers Hal Uhrig and Craig Sonner, say they haven’t talked to Zimmerman in two days, and that Zimmerman contacted the special prosecutor’s office directly, against legal advice. Earlier in the day, Zimmerman said on a personal website: “As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage, I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life.” Zimmerman says “the facts will come to light” and thanks his friends for their support.
