MLK Library Rooftop Garden

This summer your library is a place to get loud with live music on the rooftop garden of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library with DC Public Library's DC Punk Archive Concert Series and the Go-Go on the Rooftop Concert Series. Groove to local bands and enjoy a picnic (outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome on the roof!) looking over the best views in town.

Both series help bring to life DC Public Library's music archives, the Go-Go Archive and the DC Punk Archive that are dedicated to recording, preserving and making accessible the vibrant music scene here in the DMV. Concert attendees are encouraged to stop by the library's permanent exhibitions on the 4th Floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library to learn more about the archives, see unique collections like ticket stubs, concert posters, behind-the-scenes photos and much more.
