Join others from the D.C. community for a day of information sharing, community-building, and problem-solving about the transition of D.C. youth with disabilities into post-secondary education, training, employment and independence.

- Local resources on employment, education, independent living, and more.
- Success stories and community building.
- Workshops covering topics such as adaptive technology, developing IEP transition goals, self-advocacy, transitioning to college, government benefits and employment.
Individual Legal Information Sessions
Forum participants can sign up for a 30-minute session during registration to speak one-on-one with an advocate or attorney from a D.C. legal service provider about concerns regarding the transition of students with IEPs from school to postsecondary education, employment and/or independent living.
There is no charge for this event, and box lunches and refreshments will be provided.
