Hi all, it’s me again… Ava. Remember me? The Belly Rub Queen? Oh, I do like to have my belly rubbed and kissed and patted. I also like treats and the library has the best treats ever! So between the belly rubs, the treats, and the kids… I was in heaven! The library is fast becoming my favorite place to be. Trust me. I am a PAL dog and have been to a lot of places.
There was one little girl who really touched my heart. At first, she wasn’t so sure about making four-legged friends. So, in my own way, I said to her, “Sweetheart, with me, there’s no worry. Let’s stroll, shall we..?” She understood that I was gentle girl, just like her. So together, we girls took a walk. She did a great job, had a real gentle touch.
So, I thought I’d pick up the speed and started to jog lightly around the AV collection, swing past the biography section, and then loop back around the nonfiction part of the library. She kept up! I just know we are going to make great friends.
I love the library. I feel so loved and appreciated there. You see, not everyone knows this… but I am a multilingual mutt. At the library there are books in many languages. I got to brush up on my Español with Clifford y la limpieza de primavera by Norman Bridwell. Oh, I do love that big red dog! I am of petite-stature myself, so I love to go on adventures with Clifford. I would never experience such grand things on my own!
