DC Loves to Read

If you want to celebrate books and reading, Saturday, Oct. 2 is the day for you to come to any DC Library!  Check out the events that will be held at the Takoma Park branch below:

For Children and Families
Drop in Saturday to read stories at the cozy reading tent we've made by the fireplace.

For Teens
Some book covers just suck - but that doesn't mean the stories aren't good!  Save them by designing cool new covers and putting them on display.

For Adults
We're turning our meeting room into a Reading Salon where you can listen to jazz and sip tea while you read.  Join us for discussions of Let The Great World Spin by Colum McCann at 11:00 am and Losing My Cool by Thomas Chatterton at 2:00 pm.
