Whoo-eee! What a day. I had a play date. We romped. We played. We chased sticks. I like to keep active. And, I like to socialize. So, it was off to the library to visit my human friends next. Big dogs like to spread the love. And to some, I’m known as Leo-the-Lovebug!
I made a grand entrance at the library, arriving fashionably late. You see, I had a bit of a wardrobe crisis. I couldn’t decide what to wear! I pride myself on being a dapper dog. It’s important for a dog to put his best paw forward, you know? And, I like to match. Matching is slick. In the end, I wore my powder blue PAL bandanna with my 6’ blue leash. I looked sharp. I’m a big boy, and it seems I have outgrown some of my other ensembles.
And, boy oh boy, oh boy… I entered the library weighing 85 pounds, and I think I left weighing 86! Yikes. Let me explain, those TBonz Miss Julie offers had my mouth-a-watering as soon as I entered the library. They are savory and scrumptious. Simply spectacular! A fellow just can’t have one.
Before I indulged, I’ll have you know, I appreciated some stories. I heard Stanley’s Party by Linda Bailey, Bubba and Beau go Night-Night by Kathi Appelt, and Dogs by Pascale de Bourgoing. And Miss Julie didn’t even mind when I put my paws on the pages. She understands. I like that Miss Julie.
Well, time to get some shut eye.
