From Champ’s Diary: Wednesday, November 10, 2010
My best friend Harris came to the library with me tonight, along with our housemates; Mr. and Mrs. I like to travel with my entourage. It makes a fellow feel special, you know? Lucky for me, I get to bring my fine folks with me on my PAL gigs. I’ve got the best job in the world!
Miss Julie awarded me the title of "Reading Champ" of the night because I listened to the longest book of the evening, and that takes some skill. I heard How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss. It is 64 pages long! I also heard Dogzilla by Dav Pilkey. It’s about a monstrous mutt who terrorizes the residents of Mousopolis. Good stuff! I was in the mood for villainous reads.
