Hi. I am an ultra-sweet Canine Good Citizen and PAL dog from Boston. I was adopted from a shelter right near Fenway Park. Go Red Soxs! I am about 3 – 3½ years old. My adoption day is coming up soon, in February. I celebrate that day, as it’s one of the most important days of my life. It’s the day I went to live with my best friend Lucy, who is so very kind to me. Long distance licks to you, Lucy!
It was my first time at the library. I wanted to make a good impression and arrive early; however, I showed up at the Chevy Chase, Maryland Library, instead of the Chevy Chase, D.C. Library. Yikes! My handwriting can be completely indecipherable at times. Fortunately, I was only a few minutes late. Unfortunately, I missed the first part of Miss Julie’s story Gingerbread Cowboy by Janet Squires. It looked like a good story, and that little gingerbread fellow was adorable with his cowboy boots on running all over the place. Luckily, there were more stories of the night. I loved Superdog: The Heart of a Hero by Caralyn Buehner, and I asked to hear it again and again and again. I think I should come back to library and check it out once I get my library card. There are so many wonderful stories at the library.
I think my new friends at the library liked my festive holiday T-shirt. It said, “What happens in the North Pole stays in the North Pole”. Hee. Hee. It’s the time of year where we all do our part to spread the joy.
Joy to you all!
