Jung Reading Group Starts This Wednesday
Published on Monday, January 10, 2011 - 1:38pm
Every Wednesday, from January 12 - February 23 (no meeting on 2/9), from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Emily Murphey, M.A., a psychoanalytic training candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute of Boston, will facilitate a reading group that will explore Memories, Dreams, Reflections by C.G. Jung.
In his memoir, the Swiss psychoanalyst describes the dreams, visions, professional experiences and relationships that shaped his life’s work. This opus, known as Analytical Psychology, gave birth to such concepts as the collective unconscious, the archetype, the anima and animus, the individuation process, and the shadow.
Join us for a six-week reading group in which we will explore this rewarding classic and discover how Jung’s work can help us to find deeper meaning in our own lives.
Call 202-282-0021 for information on how to sign up.
