From Susie’s Diary: Wednesday January 19, 2011

Hello. My name is Susie and I am a PAL  dog. This is my second time visiting the Chevy Chase Library. I am about three years old and soon I will have my two year Adoption Day party. Which reminds me, I have been meaning to check out Happy Adoption Day!   by John McCutcheon.

Before coming to the library today, I had a play date at the golf course with my pals Brody and Beta. We ran and ran and played. What fun! I do love to play with my friends!! Which reminds me, I have been meaning to read The Horrible Play Date  by Rachel Vail. It looks like fun. I’ll ask Miss Julie to place a hold for me because the Chevy Chase Library does not own a copy.

At the library, I had some yummy treats. I do like treats! And, I heard a few good stories; The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss, Clang! Clang! Beep Beep! Listen to the City  by Robert Burleigh, and The Show Must Go On! , a Fancy Nancy book by Jane O’Connor, to name a few.

One final thing, in case you didn’t notice, I wanted to point out that I have a white tip on my tail, it’s my unique and distinguishing feature. It looks like I dipped it in milk, doesn’t it? Hee. Hee.

Smiles from a sweet girl,
Susie
