Martin Luther King Jr. Program

We had a wonder preschool program featuring picture books on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life. The children shared their dreams as they visualized what they wanted to accomplish, as an adult, in the future.
We sang songs that represented freedom and a better life for people of all colors. Each child contributed to our menu for Dr. King's lunch. We had an extensive menu of foods that young children would enjoy, such as hot dogs, pizza, macaroni and cheese, fruits and an assortment of juices.
The purpose of this program was to enrich young children's minds to be aware that Dr. King's purpose was to make sure everyone was treated equally throughout our nation.
