Help the Petworth Neighborhood Library celebrate
its renovation at a Grand Opening Party on Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Here is a list of the day's programs:
- 10 a.m. Spring Art Project for Young Children
- 10:30 a.m Tour of Building
- 11 a.m Face Painting
- 12 noon Melvin Deal African Dancers & Drummers
- 12:30 p.m. Tour of Building
- 1p.m. HERstory – Art Program for Teen Girls
- 1:30 p.m. Movie Screening – Pelada (a documentary for all ages about pick-up soccer)
- 3 p.m. Petworth Oral History Panel
