Art Club Makes Books and Commercials to Promote Themselves

This past month at Palisades Library, Art Club made an endorsement for reading. Members of the club came up with their own book ideas and created the covers. Afterwards, they created and filmed their own commercials to advertise their books. Take a look at what the kids came up with.

Gabe had an idea for a book called Three Soccer Dogs, about three dogs who save the day with their goal-scoring abilities. His commercial was inspired by their soccer skills.

Anu's book was called The Mouse Who Ate Books. She had a lot of ideas for plot twists in her story with her active imagination.

Meg made a book called The Dog Who Bucked the Horse. Meg loves animals, and she put her vast knowledge of wildlife to use while planning her commercial.
