One World, Many Stories

Kids learning about Italian masks

Kids traveled the world at the library to learn about Italy and make Italian Carnival Masks.

It's summer, and that means the children's staff at Cleveland Park has been busy getting ready for Summer Reading! This year the theme is One World, Many Stories, and the library will be offering a variety of programs for kids of all ages. Come in, and pick up our summer schedule, or check back here to keep up on dates and times of events.

Come visit us at the children's desk, and sign up for Summer Reading to receive your Reading Passport. Inside the passport, you can keep track of your summer reading to win prizes.

Participating in summer reading is easy. You have two ways to earn credits: read a book or attend a summer reading program. Each page in your passport represents a different continent. Color in a circle each time you spend 15 minutes reading or attending a summer reading program at your library.

Bring your passport back to the library when you've read two hours, four hours and seven hours to pick up your prizes. You complete the program when you have colored in four circles on each page for a total of seven hours.
