I write songs when I feel inspired.
Here’s a little ditty that I wrote for my PAL friends:
If you’re happy and you know it, wag your tail (swish, swish)
If you’re happy and you know it, bark with glee (wa—rooo)
If you’re happy and you know it, scratch like mad (scratch, scratch)
If you’re happy and you know it, chase a squirrel (pant, pant)
If you’re happy and you know it, smell the air (sniff, sniff)
If you’re happy and you know it, take a nap (snore, snore)
There are lots of variations of “If you’re happy and you know it” books in the library:
The scary version: If you’re a Monster and you know it by Rebecca Emberley
The classic version: If you’re Happy and you know it by Raffi.
The cute version: If you’re Happy and you know it by Annie Kubler
The pop up version: If you’re Happy and you know it by David A. Carter
Where, may I ask… is the dog version?!
One day I hope to see “If you’re happy and you know it” by A. Happy Dog on the shelves of Miss Julie’s library.
Dreaming happy dreams,
Happy
