It’s Teddy, not Freddie . Aie. Aie. Aie. Miss Julie kept getting my name wrong. I just smiled. I am a Southern gentleman, and that’s what we do. And, of course, I am an understanding fellow. Miss Julie has a lot of PAL doggies to keep track of. Maybe I should offer to be her personal assistant. How does this sound? “Available Immediately: Helpful Dog. Makes stress magically disappear. Provides unconditional love. Works for affection.”
I really would make a good library assistant. I love books. I also love food. And books about dogs and food, like Dog Food by Saxton Freymann, are dreamy. I also think I’d enjoy Hot Diggity Dog: The History of the Hot Dog by Adrienne Sylver.
I heard lots and lots of stories tonight, in alphabetical order by title, here they are: Bed Hog by Georgette Noullet, The Book Shop Dog by Cynthia Rylant, Clifford Goes to Dog School by Norman Bridwell, and My Father the Dog by Elizabeth Bluemle. I loved them all!
Time to rest. I have a bionic hip, and sometimes when it’s rainy, it bothers me.
Teddy Bear cuddles,
Teddy
