From Freddie's Diary: Tuesday, September 20, 201

Star-struck! What a thrill! You’ll never believe what happened … There I was, sitting in the library with the other PAL dogs when along came a real live author. That’s right! Carolivia Herron, the author of Nappy Hair and Always an Olivia: A Remarkable Family History walked right into the library. I think I might have slobbered a little in my excitement. You never know what sort of wonder and joy you'll find in the library … and I love that … So I keep coming back for more!

It is important to me to feed my brain with books, my body with exercise, and my belly with treats. Today I heard the Berenstain Bears’ New Pup by Stan and Jan Berenstain and Fireworks for All by Karen Barss. On Sunday I got a lot of exercise at the Wheaton Pool Dog Swim. And, as I am a bit of a treat hound … I can sniff out deliciousness like no other. And Miss Julie always has a full supply of healthy doggie treats.

Today was a good day. I look forward to tomorrow’s adventures.

Fondly,
Freddie
