Stop by for a visit with children's author, Mary Quattlebaum, on Saturday, October 1, at 3 p.m.
Author of 18 children’s books, Quattlebaum's most recent titles are Pirate vs. Pirate, Jo MacDonald Saw a Pond, and The Hungry Ghost of New Orleans. Quattlebaum’s books have been selected for Delacorte/Random House’s Marguerite de Angeli Prize for first middle-grade novel, Parenting Reading Magic Award, Bank Street Best Books, Sugarman Award, Notable Social Sciences Trade Book and a number of state children’s choice lists. Quattlebaum reviews children’s books regularly for The Washington Post and Washington Parent, and online for the National Wildlife Federation.
