"Justice Brennan: Liberal Champion"

Northeast Library offers a series of author talks starting on Wednesday,
October 27. The first in this series is "Justice Brennan: Liberal
Champion" by Seth Stern, co-authored by Stephen Wermiel.

This title has received many favorable reviews and is described by Publishers Weekly
as “what will likely be the definitive biography of Supreme Court
Justice Brennan (1906 - 1997).” Justice Brennan was instrumental in
several controversial decisions, including Roe v. Wade, affirmative
action, the death penalty and obscenity law.

The program will
