Acclaimed author, Marita Golden will lead this free one-day writing workshop on Saturday, January 9, 2010  at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in the Computer Lab (Room 311).  Ms. Golden has helped writers and aspiring writers remove writer's block and start writing. Beginning and veteran writers will cultivate writing techniques, and write through fear, anxiety and self-censorship.

  • Write your story.
  • Develop believable characters.
  • Find the time to write.
