I do not snack. If my handy-dandy tooth brush is not nearby, then I refrain. You see, I have a snaggle tooth, which is darling; however, it is a challenge to brush. I fancy myself an accomplished brusher, and I have done a lot of reading on the topic. I’ve read Brush, Brush, Brush by Alicia Padron, Ready, Set, Brush!: A Pop-up by Matt Mitter and The Tooth Book: A Guide to Healthy Teeth and Gums by Edward Miller. Tonight I snacked. I could not resist. Miss Julie offered the most scrumptious bites of filet mignon… I just had to have some! Rest assured, the first thing I did when I got home though was to brush my chompers!
Between snacks, I heard stories. I liked Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathmann very much. It was very clever. And, I couldn’t wait to hear how Always in Trouble by Corinne Demas ended.
Well, I’m off to get in my last swim for the season.
Tootles,
Trudy, PAL dog extraordinaire
